Tamar Kleinberger Nahmias
I was born and grew up in Israel apart from two years in South Africa, during which I acquired the English language and got to know another culture for the first time.
I started out in the world of performing arts. As I child I studied dancing and piano and after my service in the army I completed a B.Mus degree "cum laude" at the Rubin Academy of Music in the Tel-Aviv University and a M.Mus degree at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the City University in London. In the following years I continued to work as a classical singer, a field which requires discipline, repetitive practicing, an ability to create interpretations and communicate them and a high level of technique.
My musical activities led to many trips to Europe and an exposure to architecture and interior design. This was also an opportunity to learn more languages and get to know the European cultures better. When I returned to Israel I studied interior design at the Open University and thus added another dimention to my rich cultural knowledge. This together with the new technical skills I acquired led to the results presented in this site.
